Hello there, I'm Sheryl.
Based in New York City, I use my camera as a way to slow down and pay closer attention to the world around me. Photography isn’t my profession. It’s a creative outlet and quiet practice that helps me notice the beauty, the mundane, and the in-between moments that often go unseen.
What are my interests?
Photojournalism, landscapes, portraiture, street photography,
abstract work, composites, and astrophotography.
Where have I shown my work?
DGSC Art and Photo Exhibition, CUNY Graduate Center. June 2021.
YPA/ASMP American Landscapes, Photoville (Brooklyn, NY). September 2017.
Life Along the Q Line. Dollars & Sense. May 2017.
Smile. Creative Inquiry Day, CUNY Baruch College. May 2016.
